WEDDING OFFICIANT Your ceremony should sound like you. You already know how you want your wedding to feel — personal, meaningful, joyful, relaxed, funny, tender, spiritual, or completely your own. My job is to get to know you well enough to create it. Before I ever begin writing, we sit down together for a real conversation. I’ll ask about how you met, what drew you to each other, the moments that shaped your relationship, what makes you laugh, how you move through hard moments together, what you love about one another, and why — out of everything you’ve lived through together — you’re choosing this person and this life. I take notes. I listen closely. And sometimes the best question is the one that comes to me because of something you just said. Then I take everything you’ve shared — your stories, personalities, humor, traditions, favorite details, values, and the little things that make your relationship yours — and write an original ceremony around you. No generic script. No filling in the blanks. No ceremony that could belong to another couple. You’ll have the opportunity to read it beforehand, tell me what feels perfect, and make any changes you’d like. Then I rehearse it, learn its rhythm, and arrive prepared to tell your story with the care it deserves — so that when you’re standing there together, you don’t have to think about what comes next. You get to be present. I’ll hold the story, the flow, and the moment. ♡ I’ve been officiating weddings since 2010 and received WeddingWire’s Best Officiant of the Year award in 2018. After welcoming my first child in 2019, I spent seven years as a stay-at-home mom, and I’m now returning to this work with an even deeper appreciation for love, family, commitment, and the stories we choose to build together. Whether your ceremony is intimate and simple, spiritual and meaningful, playful and hilarious, deeply romantic, or a little bit of everything, we’ll create something that feels unmistakably like the two of you.
